Two in one beauty products haven't always had the best reputation in the world. It's standard to associate them with lazy college boys looking for the cheapest product to wash with.
While we still don't trust those all-in-one shampoo/conditioner/body washes, there are actually some two in one beauty products that are actual game-changers. Improving your beauty routine has never been much time (and cost) effective!
Those with thick and/or long hair know that ‘sorry, I have to wash my hair tonight', can be a legit excuse for staying in. Drying and styling hair can take literally hours, with the wrong products. But with a blow dryer brush, you can style your hair while it dries, cutting your post-wash routine in half.
Every shower gel and cream promises to be moisturizing, but they just don't do the job as well as shower oil does. Regular body washes tend to have ingredients that strip the skin of its natural oils, whereas shower oil works to replenish moisture while cleaning. If you have extremely dry skin, you may need to supplement with a body butter or lotion post-shower, but those with normal skin can moisturize and clean in the shower simply by switching to oil.
When you're strapped for time but feel like your skin needs some love, use it as an exfoliating scrub. When you want to pamper yourself, leave it on for a while and use it as a face mask. Either way, your skin will feel fresh, and your bathroom counter will be less cluttered.
Cheek and lip balm.
Nothing is worse than mismatched makeup. Well, you won't have to worry about that when you can use the same product on your lips and cheeks. Cheek and lip balm will give you a perfectly matched look while providing hydration.
We just really love oils, if you couldn't tell already! This versatile liquid can be used to hydrate the face, to protect hair from heat, or to just keep the locks feeling soft. Men can also use beauty oil to keep beards soft and smooth.
Tinted moisturizer or lip balm.
Tinted moisturizers hydration while smoothing out the skin's texture; what more could you want? On a similar note, we have to give a shout out to tinted lip balms. They're perfect for providing a subtle bit of color when you don't want to commit to lipstick or stain, and you can also use them as a sheer blush on the cheeks.
If you like tinted moisturizers, you'll love BB cream. It works as a moisturizer, foundation, and sunscreen! It sounds too good to be true, but it really isn't. If you struggle with uneven skin, go for CC (color correcting) cream instead.
It's wonderfully versatile, and it smells delicious. You can use it as a skin moisturizer, a hair mask, and a makeup remover. Oh, and you can use it for cooking too. But with all its beauty benefits, it has a permanent spot on our bathroom shelf.
